Myrtle Nettles, age 72, of Baxley died Friday, February 5, 2016 in Vidalia.
Mrs. Nettles was born October 28, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Barney Martin and the late Grace Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny M. Nettles of Baxley; two daughters, Wanda (Raymond) Strickland of Guyton, GA, Tracie Ann Varnadore of Baxley; two sons, Johnny C. (Teresa) Nettles, Sr. of Baxley, Mark (Lisa) Nettles of Clinton, Iowa; Carolyn McNorton of Jackson, Georgia, Edna Coe of Jasper, Georgia, fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Raymond Strickland and Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Appling Memorial Gardens.
Active Pallbearers are Steven Matthew Nettles, Cameron Rollins, Johnny C. Nettles, Jr., Steve Nettles, Chris Hope, and Mike Nettles.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.
