Nellie Faye Carter Conner

Nellie Faye Carter Conner, age 84, of Baxley, GA died Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

Mrs. Conner was born July 24, 1931 in Appling County to the late Ottamus Carter and the late Ocilla Sikes Carter. She was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church and retired as a book keeper from SunTrust Bank. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Conner, three sons, Ronnie Carter, Roy Conner, Ricky Conner and a grandson, Stacy Carter.

Mrs. Conner is survived by a son & daughter in law, Ray & Merlene Carter of Baxley; sister, Rita Jane Lipthratt of Baxley; brother & sister in law, Burton & Daisy Carter of Waycross; daughter in law, Sherri Carter of Baxley; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM from Dunn Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Brown and Rev. David Herndon officiating.

Interment will follow in Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Eric Carter, Bradley Carter, Brock Carter, Mitchell Carter, Terry Senters and Adam Carter.

Honorary pallbearers are Comfort Care Hospice, Ladies 2 Sunday School Class of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church, members of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church and Nurses of the Pavilion.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Dunn Memorial Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
