Nikko Elijah Poma was born prematurely, at 25 weeks, on July 29, 2022 in Bacon County weighing one pound and four ounces. He fought many health conditions and proved to be a true warrior. He accomplished many obstacles with his health conditions and won the hearts of everyone he encountered. He was loved greatly by his wonderful family and caretakers. God needed him sooner than expected and, despite his rough start, Nikko truly and finally overcame as he entered the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
He is survived by his twin sister, Dahlia Poma, sisters, Emalynn Famer and Addisyn Harden; grandparents, Jay & Cynthia Winge; uncle, Ricky (Courtney) Batten; aunt, Ashley (J. R.) Hiott; and great grandparents, Yvonne & Ralph Dubberly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Pete NeSmith officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
