Ophelia Reynolds, age 90, of Baxley, died Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Ms. Ophelia was born November 18, 1924 in Appling County to the late Orlando Chester Reynolds and the late Gertrude Rentz Reynolds. She was a member of Melton's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Smiley (Roger) of Baxley; one son Carroll Reynolds (Barbara) of Middleburg, FL; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Reynolds of Baxley; three grandchildren, Rodney Smiley, Chanda Reynolds Teston (Greg), and Melissa Smiley Hartley (Andy).Also surviving are three Great Grandchildren, Dylan Elisha Christopher, Jackson Christopher Hartley, and Anna Kate Hartley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. David Deen and Rev. Rickey Rushing officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the funeral hour.
Interment will be at Melton's Chapel.
Active Pallbearers are Dylan Christopher, Greg Teston, Andy Hartley, Davy Reynolds, David Yawn, and Kenny Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers are A-Hall and B-Hall Nurses from the Pavilion and all friends in attendance.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
