Patricia G. "Pat" Skinner

Patricia G. "Pat" Skinner, age 58, of Baxley died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Skinner was born November 16, 1956 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Clifton Edgar Gentry and the late Callie French Gentry. She was a member of the Baxley Church of God and served in the Prison Ministry. Mrs. Skinner was a homemaker and a license Minister with the Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Kelvin Skinner of Baxley; Two sons & daughters in law, Kelvin Heath & Mamta Skinner of Valdosta and Clifton Reed & Jennifer Skinner of Baxley; One sister, Paige Tomberlin of Odum; Three brothers, Billy Gentry of Pace, Florida, Ricky Gentry of Westville, Florida and Kenny Gentry of Milton, Florida; Two grandchildren, Madelyn Williams and Maecon Boatright.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Baxley Church of God with Rev. Robbie Tomberlin, Rev. David Deen and Rev. Lamar Lee officiating. Mrs. Skinner will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service at the church.

Interment will follow in Appling Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday evening 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Baxley Church of God.

Active pallbearers are Jason Carter, David Beckworth, Luke White, Ben Hiers, Jacob Tomberlin and Cole Deen.

Honorary Pallbearers are Joey & Teresa Hiers, Danny & Gail Smith, Willard & Rita Lightsey, Jerry & Debbie Lightsey, Kevin & Kim White, Mark & Dawn Melton, Marla Tomberlin, Paige Tomberlin, Pam Deen & Wanda Stone.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
