Pauline C. Baxley

Pauline C. Baxley, age 88, of Baxley died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Mrs. Baxley was born January 30, 1928 in Appling County to the late Cephas Tildon Crummey and the late Zella Crosby Crummey. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Baxley retired after more than 40 years of serving her home town as a dental hygienist and was a member of the Canasta Club. She was a devoted Mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Baxley was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Baxley.

Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Marsha & Charles Hart of Baxley; son & daughter, Jeff & Edie Baxley of Baxley; sister & brother in law, Barbara Ann & Dave Arnold of Baxley; three brothers & sisters in law, Charles & Betty Crummey of Baxley, Gerald & Helen Crummey of Kingsland and Hollis & Jane Crummey of Monroe; 5 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 at11:00 A.M.at Spring Branch Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Tyler B. Bliss, Matt Hart, Drew Hart, Craig Klement, Chris Collins and Michael Harris.

Honorary pallbearers are Spring Branch Church Senior Adult Sunday School Class, Canasta Club, Alicia Mendozo, Lauri Jacobs, Beverly McMillian, Omer & Pat McLean, Lewis Taylor, Sandy Warren, Lucy Dart and Winifred Sellers.

Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 A.M. at Spring Branch Baptist Church.
