Mrs. Pauline Lawrence, age 84, of Baxley died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Lawrence was born January 26, 1930 in Appling County to the late William Curtis Collins and the late Velma Hopkins Collins. She was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Luther Lawrence and a grandson, James Shipes, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters & son in law, Kathryn Finerson of Memphis, TN and Joy & John Cardwell of Hazlehurst; Four sons & daughters in law, Thomas L. & Sheryl Lawrence of Baxley, Paul Lawrence of Memphis, TN, John & Rhonda Lawrence & Jim & Tonya Lawrence all of Baxley; Two sisters & brothers in law, Frances & Cosmo Glass of Lake Wales, FL & Kathryn & Leonard Flanagan of Baxley; Six brothers & sisters in law, Robert & Elaine Collins of Vero Beach, FL, Wendell & Sue Collins of Ft. Pierce, FL, Maxie & Elvie Jean Collins of Hazlehurst, Bill & Candy Collins of Indian Lake Estates, FL, Kenny & Pat Collins of Statesboro & Troy & Linda Collins of Baxley; Three Sisters in law, Dorothy Taylor of Dothan, Al, Mable & Herbert Rentz of Baxley , Delcie Lawrence of Macon. 11 grandchildren & a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Teutsch, Rev. Allen Rea & Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Sean Heath, Dean Collins, Darrell Sellers, Reggie Lasseter, Terry Rentz & Larry Branch.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
