Ralph Vernon Aycock, Jr., age 79, of Baxley died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Mr. Aycock was born October 19, 1941 in Sheffield, Alabama to the late Ralph Vernon Aycock, Sr. and the late Lorene Tomberlin Aycock. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, having served in Vietnam. Mr. Aycock was also a retired insurance agent and attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Aycock was preceded in death by his sister, Dianne Carter.
Survivors include his wife Sherry Swindle Aycock of Baxley; daughters and sons-in law, Stacey & Tony Carroll of Auburn, Lisa & Freddy Finely of Erin, TN, Kandace &Heith Wynn of Odum; sons, Ken Wade of Brunswick and Keith Wade of Alma; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating.
Remembrances may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church (c/o Jean Spell P.O. Box 206 Baxley, GA 31515).
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
