Raymond Yates "Ray" Chauncey, Jr., age 56, of Baxley died Monday, April 20, 2015.
Mr. Chauncey was born February 12, 1959 in McRae, Georgia to the late Rev. Raymond Yates Chauncey, Sr. and the late Evelyn Louise Jowers Chauncey. He attended Crosby Chapel United Methodist Church and was a farmer.
Survivors include his three daughters and sons in law, Carmen Renee & Kevin Spell of Baxley, Sierra Rae & Josh Spencer of Gainesville and Chynna Renee Chauncey of Brunswick; One son & daughter in law, Raymond Yates III & Tricia Chauncey of Baxley; Two sisters, Harriet McCoy and Betty Sauls all of Baxley; Ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wigley officiating and a eulogy by Yates Chauncey.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service.
Active pallbearers are James McCoy, Matt McCoy, Tom McCoy, Mark Sauls, Jake Sauls and Stephen Sauls.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
