Reno Carter age 75, of Baxley died Thursday, June 26, 2014.
Mr. Carter was born March 26, 1939 in Appling County to the late John Lester Carter, Sr. and the late Seveta Craven Carter Burroughs. He was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Baker Carter of Baxley; 2 daughters & son in law, Rena' & Bootsie Morris of Wilson, North Carolina & LaDonna & Mike Hines of Four Oaks, North Carolina; 2 sons & daughter in law, Glynn Carter & Jody & Michelle Carter all of Baxley; 1 sister, Barbara Carter Moore of Baxley; Brother, Billy Carter of Baxley. 4 grandchildren, Savannah Hines, Carter Hines, Jake Carter & Jenna Carter & step grandchildren, Dee Morris, Marlo Morris, Paxton Morris and Jason (Patricia) Morris.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 4:30 P.M. from the Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating.
Interment will follow in Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Floyd Hunter, Dwayne Sellers, Ronald Carter, Kevin Hunter, Bill Waldon, Roger Anderson, Donald Harrelson, Jerry Hall, Gene Davis, Gay Stone and Kim Hall.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service.
