Salina "Sissy" Georgette Jones

Salina “Sissy” Georgette Jones, age 48, of Surrency died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her residence under the care of Community Hospice.

Ms. Jones was born April 16, 1973 in Wayne County. Sissy loved her family, and she loved all things colorful and bright. Although her life was short, it was a life well-lived. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bossy & Georgia Mae Yawn and Jack & Inez Williams.

Survivors include her other half, Darren Crosby of Surrency; daughters, Kelby & Josh Ross of Surrency, Krista & Colin Haddock of Baxley and Kasee Jones & Dustin Bass of Baxley; a son, James Crosby of Surrency; parents, Judy & James Williams of Surrency; sister, Pam & Wesley Covington of Baxley; brothers, James “Bo” Williams and Steven Williams both of Surrency. Grandchildren, Nolan Ross, Rollie Ross, Denton Ross and Kyler Bass; and special friends, Alisha & Rocky Pittman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Derek Jones officiating and a eulogy by Rena Stallings.

Interment will follow in Surrency City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ron Ingram, Dustin Bass, Karl Covington, Kris Covington, Rocky Pittman and Brett Morris.

Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews, and all friends in attendance.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
