Sara Nasworthy Devereaux

Sara Nasworthy Devereaux, age 88 died Wednesday, April 1, 2015.


Mrs. Devereaux was born May 6, 1926 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Arthur Nasworthy and the late Ruth Harrell Nasworthy. She was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of Lady Lake Assembly of God. She was owner & operator of The Pumpkin Patch Daycare and Mema's Biscuits and was a wonderful mother & grandmother.


Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Hartley of Lady Lake, Florida; sons, Larry Devereaux & Donnie Devereaux both of Jacksonville, Florida and Ralph Devereaux of Holly Spring, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great -great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 6, 2015 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Jacksonville, Florida with Rev. Ron Hartley officiating.


Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.


Interment will follow at 4:00 P.M. in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Surrency, Georgia.


Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., at Swain Funeral Home.


Active pallbearers are Bucky Devereaux, Joey Devereaux, Ryan Devereaux, Steve Rose, Ronnie Hartley, Eddie Small, Alan Kippany, Michael Silcox, Jonathan Kelly & John Driggers.


Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
