Sarah Elizabeth "Beth" Townsend Boone, age 56, of Baxley died Sunday, December 15, 2013.
Miss. Boone was born August 10, 1957 in Fulton County and was the daughter of the late James Clifford Townsend and the late Sara Kate Lott Townsend. She was a 3rd generation teacher of the Townsend Family and retired as a Principal for the Altamaha Elementary School of Appling County and was a certified Paramedic.
Survivors include her son, Orlando McDonald "Donald" Boone, III of Blackshear; Brother, James Michael "Mike" Townsend of Baxley; 2 Grandchildren, Jackson Emmett Boone and Elizabeth Reagin Tuttle.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. from the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Beecher officiating.
