Shirley (Yarbrough) Sellers

Shirley Yarbrough Sellers, age 79, of Baxley passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at Appling Healthcare System.

Mrs. Sellers was born October 9, 1941 in Appling County to the late William Horace Yarbrough and the late Minnie Lee Hall Yarbrough. She was a retired farmer and formerly employed with Appling Healthcare System as a Transporter. Mrs. Sellers attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emory W. Sellers; and siblings, Odis Yarbrough, Frank Yarbrough, Francis Yarbrough, and Mary Cason.

Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Becky & David Brue of Baxley; sister, Eula Mae Drawdy of Baxley; grand dogs Jabo & TJ; several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Williamson & Rev. Justin McLellan officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Larry Yarbrough, David Lightsey, David Walton, Ernie Walton, Donald Walton, Alvin Walton, & Richie Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends in attendance of the funeral service.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Swain Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
