Shirley L. Taylor, age 72, of Baxley died Saturday, April 18, 2015.
Mrs. Taylor was born July 13, 1942 in Appling County to the late J.T. Duncan and the late Eula Mae Thornton Duncan. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and was a Seamstress.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Malcolm Taylor of Baxley; 2 daughters and son in law, Gail & Rusty Barnes of Jesup and Sherry Dyal Stone of Baxley; 2 sons and daughters in law, Mikey & Sharon Dyal and Jerome & Debbie Dyal all of Baxley; 2 sisters and brothers in law, Jeanette & Kenneth Johns of Goodlettsville, TN and Shirlene & Bill Whitley of Macon; 2 brothers & sister in law, Buddy Duncan and Thomas & Jeanette Duncan all of Baxley; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Jones & Rev. Bobby Brinkley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers are Chris Stone, Steven Dyal, Timothy Hendrix, Trevor Dickson, Dylan Hendrix, Michael Shipes, Talan Shipes & Bryar Shipes.
Honorary Pallbearers are all friends and Family.
