Stephen Lee Courson

Stephen Lee Courson, age 58, of Baxley died Thursday, January 14, 2016.

Mr. Courson was born July 26, 1957 in Appling County to the late Carson John Courson, Sr. and the late Dorothy Marie Walker Courson. He was a Mechanic and was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Lee Courson, Jr., sister, Cheryl Rexroat and brother, Timothy Courson.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Courson of Baxley; daughter, Emma Grace Lee Courson of Baxley; son, Joshua Bryon Courson of Baxley; sister & brother in law, Lynn & David Lowe of Hendersonville, TN; brother & sisters in law, John & Linda Courson and Suzanne Courson all of Baxley; and two grandchildren, Nathan & Aiden and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Gill officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at Swain Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Kenny Stone, Mike Tippins, Doug Sims, David Lowe, Trent Head and Carson Lowe.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
