Steve Jerome Eason

Steve Jerome Eason, age 55, of Statesboro died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Eason was born December 18, 1959 in Appling County to the late Thomas Edwin Eason and the late Helen Wolfe Eason Drawdy. He was a member of Believer's Church in Statesboro. Mr. Eason was owner of Hunter's CafAC. in Shellman's Bluff where he was a member of Sapelo Fishing Club and Friends of Shellman's Bluff.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Miles Eason of Statesboro; Daughter, Victoria Lynn Eason of Statesboro; Two sons, Stephen "Miles" Eason and Jarrod Edwin Eason both of Statesboro; Sister & brother in law, Rita & Willard Lightsey of Baxley; Brother & sister in law, William "Billy" & Suzanne Eason of Baxley; Parents in law, Henry Grady "Buster" & Jimmie Ree Miles of Baxley; Sister in law & brother in law, Scarlett & Tim Copeland of Baxley; Brother in law, Grady Miles of Baxley; Four grandchildren, Braeden Miles Eason, Vega Schutte, Savanna Schutte and Miles Chandler Eason.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Moore officiating and a Eulogy by Rita Lightsey.

Interment will be in Omega Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.
