Thelma Brigmond Turner

Thelma Brigmond Turner, age 80, died Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Meadows Regional Medical Center.


Mrs. Turner was born, May, 18, 1935, in Coffee County. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Mrs. Turner enjoyed serving the Lord for many years in the ministries with her husband. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Lee Morehouse; one grandson, Aaron Isaiah Guy; two sisters, Ruby Lewis and Betty Spears; one brother, Mike Brigmond.


Survivors include her husband, Rev. Thomas H. Turner of Baxley; two daughters, Lori T. Diamond of Baxley and Mary Ann (Randy) Guy of Brunswick, GA; two sons, Thomas David Turner of Deland, FL and Jonathan A. Turner of Baxley ; one sister, Lois (George) Jones of Winter Garden, FL; three brothers, Rev. John (Bobbie Jean) Brigmond of Clermont, FL, Bobby Brigmond of Orlando, FL, and Darrell Brigmond of Groveland, FL; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, 2015, at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. James Jordan and Rev. George F. Jones, III officiating.


Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2015, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home.


Remembrances may be made to United Pentecostal Church 65 Alpine Drive Baxley, GA 31513.


Interment will follow at Omega Cemetery.
