Swain Funeral Home announces the death & funeral services of ...


Timothy "Tim" Flood, age 69, of Baxley died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia.


Mr. Flood was born June 15, 1944, in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Ruth Flood. He was self employed as a construction supervisor. He was a member of Satilla Baptist Church and he was a Gideon.


Survivors include his spouse, Polly Flood of Baxley; three daughters, Cathy (Stacy) Williams, Kelli (Dennis) Richey, Sephy (Paul) Rentz, all of Baxley; one son Jimmy (Angela) Flood of Albany, Georgia; three sisters, Carol Loguidice, Jean Wiedeman, and Becky Pataki all of Wadsworth, Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. from Satilla Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Davis and Rev. Ron Ross officiating.


Interment will follow in Miles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.


Active pallbearers are Randall Odum, Henry Crosby, Aubrey Lynch, Rocky Courson, J. F. Griffin, Clifton Mincey, and Jerry Johnson.


Honorary pallbearers are all friends in attendance.


Visitation will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014, 6:00-8:00 at the Swain Funeral Home Chapel.
