Tommy Joseph "Joe" Beecher

Tommy Joseph “Joe” Beecher, age 53, of Baxley passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Mr. Beecher was born May 18, 1968 in Appling County to the late Tommy Beecher and the late Sara Mae Williams and was employed by AAA Construction.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Beecher of Baxley; daughters and sons-in-law, Brittany & Garrett Anderson and Abby Beecher & Casey Hallman all of Baxley; sisters, Scarlett Doggett and Kanita Duncan; and mother-in-law, Vivian Griffin. Grandchildren, Natilee Nikole Anderson and Garrett Joseph Anderson also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Brown officiating and eulogies by Jeffrey Johnson and Abby Beecher. Interment will follow in Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Kelly Williams, B.J. Crews, Benny Crews, Blake Beecher, Earl Beecher, Bubba Higginbotham, Cody Leggett and David “Doc” Defiore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Morris, all friends & family, and former co-workers at M & S Steel and AAA Construction.

Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
