Velma Price, age 91, of Baxley died Monday, December 30, 2013, in the Appling Health Care System.
Mrs. Price was born September 10, 1922, in Wrightsville, GA and was the daughter of the late Milton Little and Louella Claxton. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a former manager of the Appling Country Club. She was preceded in death by her husband John Price, Sr and 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include one son - John "Bubba' Price, Jr. (Debbie); 3 grandchildren, Haley (Greg) Black, Stephanie (Steve) Eason and Brent Price. Mrs. Price is also survived by 5 greatgrandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 3:00 PM at Omega Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
