Wilda Fae Rainwater

Wilda Fae Rainwater, age 77, of Baxley died Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Savannah, GA.
Mrs. Rainwater was born December 15, 1938 in Hazelhurst, Georgia to the late Ollie Carter and the late Lizzie Carter. She was a retired seamstress from Ship and Shore and retired from Sheffield's Sports Shop. Mrs. Rainwater was a member of Zion Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Rainwater.
Survivors include three sons, Mike (Becky) Rainwater, Richard (Regina) Rainwater, both of Baxley and Jason (Angela) Rainwater of Jesup, GA; two sisters, Madie (Lemuel) Morris of Bristol, GA and Charlotte Carter of Tennessee; two brothers, Ollie Carter of Wadley, GA and Travis (Donna) Carter of Kenesaw, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Zion Church of God with Pastor Steve Statum and Pastor Mickey Tomberlin officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Church of God Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Active pallbearers are Michael Paul Rainwater, Mark Rainwater, Joe Rainwater, Tyler Rainwater, Timothy Rainwater, and Robbie Morris.
Honorary pallbearers are the Zion Church of God Adult Sunday School class.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
