William Jeffery Tootle

August 20, 1963 — February 25, 2023

William Jeffery Tootle, age 59, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.

Mr. Tootle was born on August 20, 1963 in Appling County to the late William Jerome Tootle and the late Jacqueline Copeland Tootle.  He was a member of Philippi Baptist Church and was a welder at Selco Products.  Mr. Tootle was preceded in by his grandparents, Clyde & Vada Tootle and Lawrence & Fannie Copeland.

Survivors include his sisters, Jina (Jody) McDonald and Janice Tootle (Mark Bryant) both of Baxley; nephews, Brandon McDonald of Patterson and Cody McDonald of Baxley; a niece, Brandy McDonald of Baxley; and a great niece, Riley Fennell and great nephew, Wesley Bowery;  aunts, Deleta (Jimmy) Hopkins, JoAnn (Jimmy) McDonald, and Nell Tootle all of Baxley; uncle, Johnnie (Betty) Copeland of Baxley; a host of cousins and a special cousin, Kip & Rhonda Davis.

A visitation will be held Thursday evening, 6:00 until 8:00 pm, at Swain Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be special friends, Ricky Aldridge, Stevie Tomberlin, Randy Carter, Michael Thomas, and Martin & Myra Melchor.

A private committal service will be held at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Swain Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
