Yuba Sellers Altman

Yuba Eliza Sellers Altman, age 96, of Warner Robins died Friday, August 15, 2014.
Mrs. Altman was born November 17, 1917 in Appling County to the late Edward D. Sellers and the late Dora Dukes Sellers and was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Baxley and Calvary & Anderson Drive in Jesup. Mrs. Altman was a member of Jesup Ceramic Club and was a painter, seamstress, hairdresser, window dresser, & electrician in Jacksonville, Florida. She was also a loving caregiver to her late husband, Vernon Sampson "Samp" Altman, Sr.
Survivors include her son & daughter in law, Vernon Sampson Altman, Jr. & Jan Woods Altman of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lyn Altman & Benjamin Lawrence Altman; and two nieces, Shirley Lee of Peachtree City & Lana Jill Tift of Atlanta.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Sabord Woods.
In lieu of flower, the family asks that all contributions be made directly to: Serenity Hospice Care, 1057 North Houston Road Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
