Yvonne Branch Deloach

Yvonne Branch DeLoach, age 88, of Baxley, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. DeLoach was born October 15, 1935 in Appling County to the late Emmett Carter and the late Elizabeth Carter.  She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church where she was active in the Oasis Sunday School Class and S.A.L.T Ladies.  Mrs. DeLoach loved to make homemade quilts, fish, and cook but most of all she loved her family and helping others. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glynn Branch and Area DeLoach; great-grandchildren, Chloe Defore, three sisters, five brothers, and a grandchild, Jessica Crosby.

Survivors include her daughters, Glynda (Burnette) Reeves of Baxley and Sara (Crystal) Branch of Green Cove Springs, FL; sons, Lanier (Cynthia) Branch and Andy (Kelly) Branch; sisters-in-law, Hilda Carter, Bonnie Carter, and Betty Weaver all of Baxley; brother, James Edward Carter of Baxley; a special aunt, Minnie Lee Davis and a special cousin, Genene Murphy; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one on the way. Several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Lamb, Rev. Stewart Reeves and Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons: Shane Reeves, Stewart Reeves, Payton DeFore, Austin Flores, Jonathan Branch, Imier Almanzar and Sebastian Almanzar.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Oasis Sunday School Class, Betty Collins, Staff of Regency Southern Care Hospice, and Eloise Taylor.

Remembrances may be made to Spring Branch Baptist Church Building Fund, Youth, or Church P.O. Box 163, Baxley, GA 31515.

The visitation will be Friday, 6-8 pm, at Swain Funeral Home.
