Zachary Dane Mincey, Sr.

Zachary Dane Mincey, Sr., age 52, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in Clermont, Florida.

Mr. Mincey was born April 2, 1971 in Appling County to the late James Hall and the late Alice Dena Mincey Hall. He was preceded in death by a brother, Benjie Mincey.

Survivors include his daughter, Dana Mincey of Alabama; sons, Zachary Dane Mincey, Jr. of Alabama, Curtis Mincey and Dustin Mincey both of Baxley; sisters, Joyce (Ronnie) Turner of Surrency, Janet (Curtis) Forehand and Jane Morris both of Baxley; brother, Jamie (Samantha) Hall of Surrency; aunt, Delane (Quincey) Allen of Baxley; cousin, Selina Sobolewski of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private graveside service was held Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Omega Cemetery with Rev. Tony Forehand officiating.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
